Has anyone been successful in syncing Pandora to their FitBit? I am paying $9.99/month for Pandora, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on my watch, setup the WiFi at work and home and I can't seem to get any stations on my watch.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

Terrible....thought Fitbit would come out with a fix or update for the problem by now. I'm sending mine back tomorrow!

I'm sorry you went through all that. I cancelled my Pandora and also returned the Ionic after 3 days of trying. Now I have a Samsung Gear Sport and its been amazing. Synced in first try. Downloaded my music to watch on first try. Connected my Bluetooth first try . Also has Spotify app you can add to the watch. I have a Galaxy Note. Not sure what you are using. Good Luck.

You have stated exactly what I experienced for 2-3 weeks when I first had my Ionic. At some point, one of several firmware updates mostly resolved the core issue of "not syncing". The only reason I have stayed with my fitbit (Ionic) is because it is the only device that my health insurance recognizes to get "points" for my data.
You may see it work eventually with no explanation.
And good luck talking to a real person. I tried for 2 weeks and never was successful.
Many other posts I've seen suggested other devices in place of a fitbit and maybe you could return it for a refund as "non functional".
Good luck!
Sorry for your pain (like so many of us have experienced).
Fitbit will simply not own up to this problem.
I'm cancelling my Pandora subscription and going back to google music from my phone. Very disappointing...

This solution DID NOT WORK FOR ME and I consider it UNACCEPTED.
I followed these support instructions to a T, not once but three times. I even restarted my Ionic device on the last two attempts and disconnected other Bluetooth devices linked to my phone (Note 😎 where Fitbit app resides.
Issue: The Pandora app hangs in spin mode while displaying the download message, but no songs from the selected stations are downloaded -- even after hours of waiting. Most recently, the Pandora app on the Ionic displays msg that no stations are selected, although they clearly are on the phone app
Questions:
1. Is the user required to have "thumbed up" songs on the selected Pandora station?
What else could I try that might work?

Ultimately I opted to Cancel my Pandora subscription and am trying to figure out how to load "personal" music. Until then I'm back to using my phone for music while working out.
This was a great idea for a feature (music right on my fitness watch!) but alas, for many of us, it never worked or at least not consistently.

Hello!
I'm having a similar issue. I've posted photos and gone through support to try and address the issue and I'm still having problems. The fitbit app is also having me confirm I'm connected to wifi EVERY TIME I open up the Pandora app, is that normal?
You can see all the details on the issue here:
Any thoughts would be helpful

So I actually just downloaded the most recent update for the ionic and was able to open Pandora and get Pandora to work on my blue tooth headphones. Have you downloaded the most recent Fitbit OS for the ionic?

I just spent over 2 hours on the phone with support department trying to figure out why no one is able to download Pandora on their Ionic watches...after trying everything that has been mentioned below and even more, customer support told me that this is a problem that they are unable to solve! Why in the world do you say it is “resolved”? It clearly is not!
I was told that Fitbit engineers are aware of this and are working to find solutions but as it stands...there is no way to down load Pandora on my watch.
The most frustrating part is that I received a set of your Fitbit Flyer headphones for Mothers Day...I do not have a desktop or laptop so my ONLY way to use the headphones was to purchase Pandora! Now I find it does not work!
Fitbit! You stink!

Did you ever get this resolved? I'm about to throw it out the window and buy an Apple Watch

Someone else stated in another topic that FitBit gave them a refund outside of the standard 45 days. Did they do that for you? I'm going to be calling. Music is the reason I purchased this product! I guess I'll be buying an Apple Watch even though they don't have the vibration option for the alarm.

Nope! I returned the watch for a replacement in the hope that mine was defective. Apparently, it takes several weeks to receive the new one because of the enormous amounts of watches that are returned.
I am very skeptical that this will resolve the problem because obviously, I am not the only one experiencing this. Like you, I hoped to eliminate the need to carry my phone on my runs but it hasn’t worked out that way.
I am looking at Garmin if my replacement does not operate perfectly!
