Syncing and clock error

My ionic is not syncing with my phone. I constantly have to restart it and my phone Bluetooth etc. Have followed all the tips and having same issue over and over. It has just synced now after me trying for hours. Surely I shouldn't have to do This? Also I tried to update my clock and am now left with a clock error. App keeps saying it can't find fitbit. Please help
