I've had my fitbit since 2016 Ava i doubt know if it has died. It won't sync and it will not clear the data. And my green light is not flashing at all in the back. I've hard rest it like 40 times at this point nothing what can i do it is it done?

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, your effort troubleshooting your Ionic prior to posting is appreciated. Just as @WavyDavey posted, can you please confirm that you're using a Fitbit Ionic? Or is it our Fitbit Blaze? Such device was released on 2016. I'll be waiting for your reply so we can move forward with the heart rate issue.
In regards the difficulties experienced with the syncing process, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
