I've read the stories on syncing issues with the Ionic and I am at the same point as many.
I'm trying the process again as I write. I have not had this many issues with syncing and I have used

Update - had to attempt to download the update again via Bluetooth - it's been updating for about 30 minutes now and looks like it is about 40% (according to progress bar). Fingers crossed

Mine updated via Bluetooth just fine, so just make sure you KEEP your Ionic and Phone in close proximity. You shouldn't have any issues once the Bluetooth connection is underway!

Looks like it is updated but, I still cannot update the clock face - the message says "some applications are still installing" and, the Ionic face still shows the fitbit logo -

YEAH!! You won't be able to do anything until the Fitbit Logo is gone from your Ionic, until then it's still either Downloading or Installing. Be patient, your almost there!
