Syncing issues with Samsung S8

Is there another way to fix the problem between syncing information between the ionic and the fitbit app on my samsung s8 phone. The settings on the app are set to all day sync, but it never corresponds to what is shown on the actual ionic. The only way I have found so far to correct this is to go into the app, remove the device and then add new device.It is so annoying as my old fitbit charge 2 always synced without any problem.

Thanks for your patience to this matter and for the troubleshoots that you've performed. Please follow the steps listed below and keep an eye on your tracker: 

 

  1. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit App.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth, WiFi or mobile data and phone.
  3. Then restart your Fitbit 
  4. Turn the phone, Bluetooth and Internet connection back on and try to sync again.

Surely this is a fault with the software ? Seems an awful long and cumbersome process to get an ionic to work properly. Never had these problems with my charge 2
