Syncing problems playing music from Deezer to my Ionic

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Every time I try to play my music on the ionic through Deezer it starts playing then stops and starts trying to download my play list again, and can then go on the app on my phone (Samsung s8+) and force sync which then allows me to play music again but never a whole song!!

Anybody got an idea how to fix this?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Mattlavell! Thanks for letting me know what works for you in order to download your music between your Ionic and Dezeer.

Please just note that you need a paid subscription to Deezer and a Wi-Fi connection to download music.

Playlists update automatically and Flow updates daily when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network. To adjust which playlists are stored on your watch:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon  > your device image.
  2. Tap or click Media > Deezer.
  3. To remove a playlist, swipe it to the left and tap Delete. To add a new playlist, tap or click Add Music and select the playlists to download. Only the content not already downloaded to your watch is shown.
  4. Plug your watch into the charger. Playlists download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap the menu icon > Force Sync Now in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app to add the playlists to your watch. To force a sync, the device paired to your watch must be nearby with Bluetooth turned on.

Because Flow is a personalized soundtrack based on the music you add to your favorites, it can take a day or two before Flow shows up for download in the Fitbit app if this is your first time using Deezer.

Plug your watch into the charger. Playlists download automatically when the watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network, or tap Force Sync Now in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app to add the playlists to your watch.

If your playlists don’t appear to be downloading, review the troubleshooting steps in Why won't my Fitbit watch connect to Wi-Fi? and Why won’t my Fitbit device sync? Then try again to download your playlists.

Your Deezer playlists update when your watch is charging and in range of your Wi-Fi network. If you added more tracks to a Deezer playlist that’s synced with your watch, your watch may run out of space when it attempts to download the new content. If you receive this error message, remove some of the music downloaded to your watch:

To download music without your charger:

  1. In the Fitbit app, tap or click the Account icon  > your device image > Media > Deezer.
  2. Tap or click the menu icon > Force Sync Now.

But please don't forget that downloading music can be battery-intensive and Wi-Fi won't work on your watch when the battery is 25% or less.

Although Deezer allows you to upload personal music files to your playlists, these tracks can’t be downloaded to your watch. When you download a playlist that contains personal music files, the unsupported tracks won’t appear on your watch. If a playlist only contains personal music files, the playlist won’t appear in the Deezer section of the Fitbit app. For information about how to download personal music and audio files with the Music app, see How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch?

Hope this helps, let me know how it goes!

Thanks for getting  back to me if u had read what I put you would no that what you have told me to do does not work.

I have the music on my fitbit no problem, but I start listening to it it the tells me it is downloading the music to my fitbit again. I don't need it too add my music unless I tell it to how do I stop it so I can listen to the music that I have already add to my fitbit with out it being interrupted?
