The Answer from fitbit customer service on my dead IONIC after firmware update

This company.  NEVER again will I deal with them.  Worst customer service I have ever seen.  Their firmware update bricked my IONIC and their answer...after 2 weeks of back and forth...is a 20% discount?  OH, which is the same as you can get on Amazon anytime?  I have left negative reviews on the Better Business Bureau, Amazon, Walmart.com and Facebook.  I suggest anyone else in my position do the same.  Fitbit should be held accountable for their lack of customer service and the only people that can do that are US, the consumers getting screwed by them.  Worst company and customer service I have ever dealt with.  Darn shame because I actually liked the IONIC quite a bit...but now it's a toss up between Garmin and Apple.  My wife did NOT do the update on her IONIC and is still functioning.  But she too is wanting to change brands after this fiasco.

This does not sound encouraging. My IONIC is doing the same. I wanted to check the forums first to see if someone found a solution to the problem. Apparently not.
