Absolutely ridiculous that I have to manually change time zones through my user accounts after traveling. I travel to a different time zone each week. Not multiple just one different time zone.
This watch is not smart if it can't switch time zones by itself.
I've missed meetings because of this.
I've had several iterations of the fitbit and bought the ionic because of GPS for running, and more importantly for its battery life. Not only is the time zone malfunction an issue to me but my old fitbit surge calculates the miles ran on gps more accurately.
The fact that it can't tell time on its own is a complete failure regardless of how much battery life it has.

My watch miraculously switched time zones without me logging in manually shortly after my post.
Got one down vote for my comment.
I guess complaining gets you in the right time zone.
Thanks but still doesn't address the mileage discrepancy on runs compared to the fitbit surge.

BTW I changed time zones 10 hours ago. Glad my "Smart Watch" caught up.
