My Ionic suddenly buzzed 2 days and the time switched to midnight and it said I had 0 steps. This was around 4 pm. I tried syncing it to my phone, restarting it (then syncing), turning it off overnight on the charger then synicing in the morning. None of these things worked. This is the third time this has happened and the other two times it fixed itself after a week. Does anyone have any ways to fix this? I use it primarily as a watch so when the time is incorrect it doesn't help at all.

Try a factory reset of the watch (setting app on the Ionic and scroll down to About). If it still is a problem followingnthis you need to contact Support (link in my signature)
