I was very disappointed when I realized I could not track my water consumption on the Ionic. A little disappointed that so much of the manual tracking still needs to be done via the phone app.

This would be a great addition, along with the ability to show calendar entries in the smartwatch.

Hi @jfgarciamex and @ARGM,
One of the first apps released in the new app store is a drink counter you use on the Ionic, without needing the app. It's called Drink Counter, and is in the Utilities section of the store. Hope this helps.

@WavyDavey do you know if that app syncs with the water consumption in the app or the dashboard?

Doesn't look like it. Seems more of an alcohol tracker.

Many people have asked for both the ability to track alcohol and water on the wrist.
The drink counter does both. Then at night it is fairly easy to transfer the water to the Fitbit app.

Yes but the salient point is that it does not sync with the Fitbit app, the main feature required by people, as noted above, when tracking on the Ionic.

Being able to sync with the Fitbit app would be an important feature. It also looks like that app only measures per glass, I would need to be able to enter the volume in ml as the glasses and bottles I use during the day vary in capacity.

Glass is 250ml hence the old 8 glasses per day formula for water consumption.

This would be very useful and should be very easy to use - just tap after every glass of water. Fitbit - this should be one of the easiest apps to develop - go to it!

Yes but how do you enter the information, I am using ionic water on versa...I see 3 bottles of different sizes but it doesn't do anything. I have tried clicking on the bottle size but nothing...how do I log? it would be very convenient to just click the bottle and log that amount of water
