Transferring a single music file to Ionic takes too long

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi there,

like others too, I'm experiencing severe issues when I wnat to transfer music to my Ionic. I have a single file to transfer to my Ionic which is approx. 200mb in size. Connecting the watch to my wifi worked quite ok but it always seems to disconnect after some minutes while transfering. In addition, the app (Windows) says it will take more than two (!!!) hours to accomplish...

Any idea how to solve?

Thanks,

Holger

Hi Liliya,

many thanks for providing the information – which I’ve already have read before I did the post.

To answer your question: It did not help at all. Connection still gets interrupted Windows app still pretends it takes 2 hours to transfer 200mb. It really seems to be a big bug in the Ionic software.

this is not new. it has always been like this.  when it connects via wifi network the file transfer takes ages. the only and only way to get around this is be patient and wait for it  to complete/ if it disconnects, try again and again . other option is to transfer smaller files . break a big file into 20 small ones of 10 mb each, u will see it gets there faster 🙂
