Tried to factory reset my ionic... now i het a red X

Got the phone yesterday (12/24/2017) everything was fine to start with...  But after 4 hours I notice no sync.   After several attempts at syncking phone and watch,  and failing I tried a factory reset. Now I'm getting a red X.   Please help.

Force close the app.

Try removing the Bluetooth link (via Bluettooth settings on phone and not on watch).

Then start the app again an pair it via the app.

Then you can choose a new watchface.

Phone: Xiaomi Mi5 OS: Android 7.1/Lineage 14.1

My fitbit Ionic sicked once at 10 am.   It would not sync after that.   I unpaired from my sony xperia XA1 ultra. I could not pair it again.  I tried to reset the phone...  Now I get  a red x and am unable to do ANYTHING with he phone. Help!

Force close the app.

Try removing the Bluetooth link (via Bluettooth settings on phone and not on watch).

Then start the app again an pair it via the app.

Then you can choose a new watchface.

I cant connect to wifi .I reset to factory settings now I have a big red cross on the screen.

I am not able to do anything with Ionic it is frozen.

I have been battling with this problem all morning.I tried un pairing it from account screen and then adding new device it seems to be working.

I hit the red x during update, I tapped it and update continued. However regarding sync issues, I did find my phone and Ionic became unpaired via Bluetooth. Couldn't get them to repair to save my life. The ionic was picking up every item in my house, the TV, the music system, anything but my phone. I restarted both phone and watch, turned off the Bluetooth on my nearby iPad and it repaired immediately. Turned my iPad Bluetooth back on and all seems okay. I'm not sure if other devices cause a conflict but so far? 

 

Hopefully Fitbit were able to help, they've always been very fast to help. At least in my experience, this is my second device.

Seems like that was the one thing that was really messing things up.

 

Did you ever use the Fitbit App on your iPad? In my own personal experience, Fitbit trackers are not that susceptible to "Bluetooth interference." Most of the time it's just that previous mobile devices (specially Apple ones) have a hard time letting them talk to your other stuff.

DON'T BUY THE FITBIT, especially the Ionic, It's $300 worth of junk.  I had one replaced already and the new one already will not sync, after following all the troubleshooting steps.  Below is the text of my conversation today on chat and it's unacceptable that they want me to spend more $$$ on a not tested, deficient product.  I've wasted SO MUCH TIME ON THIS and $$$.
