Trouble with Bluetooth

My Ionic isn't syncing to my fitbit app which means my flyers also won't work now!

Any advice or does it need a repair. I've had watch for over a year.

Thanks.

Hi @SunsetRunner - The first thing to check is to make sure that your phone and the Fitbit app have been upgraded to the latest versions. But here is a trick I’ve learned over the years with my various Fitbit devices ... We seem to be acquiring more and more devices that use Bluetooth. I’m currently sitting in a room with one BT speaker, an Amazon Dot, my iPhone and my Versa 2. That can cause confusion when trying to connect another device. To resolve that,

  • I go into a room with no other Bluetooth devices.
  • Check the Bluetooth settings on your phone. Temporarily disconnect from other BT devices.
  • Turn Bluetooth off ... wait a couple minutes ... then turn it back on.
  • Try again to sync your Fitbit device and use your Flyers.

Once I get things straightened out this way, I can normally move freely through the house, syncing and listening to music without a problem. Hope this worked for you!
