Is there a way to turn music on with the GPS running?  Started a walk with GPS connected and could not turn on music without stopping the walk and GPS.

Long press the top button on the right side of the watch. Will take you to music controls. 

 

Agree, it would be nice for an easy way to leave the exercise app and access your home screen and other apps while the exercise is still tracking. There's a feature suggestion you can vote for:

This works if you first connect to music.  If you first start an exercise and connect the GPS there is no way to get back to connect music from what I’ve seen.

Nope, not at present. The Ionic is not able to multi task. Once it’s doing one thing then that’s all it’ll do.

I press the button in the upper right and it goes to messages. I'd like it to go to music or the main level so I could go to any area.
