I am trying to sync my Ionic to my Mac.
I have successfully set it up on another windows computer already.
I have installed Fitbit Connect on the Mac but when I try to 'Sync' it says I need to turn on Bluetooth.
My Bluetooth is already turned on. What's wrong?
Mac version 10.11.6
Thanks

Does your Mac have bluetooth 4.0 or higher?

Is your Ionic connected to any other computer/phone nearby? Ensure anything it might be connected to has Bluetooth switched off.

It still says 'turn on bluetooth'
Sounds like the Ionic is trying to maintain a previous connection. I’d make sure all devices have Bluetooth switched off or are themselves switched fully off and not in standby. Then I’d restart the Ionic and Mac and try the connection again. Although BT LE has a lot of benefits, BT can be very fickle and retain connections where you’d least expect it, thus preventing new connections.

turn on the surface Bluetooth and see if the Ionic is still in the list of devices under Bluetooth. If it is you must forget it in order to remove it from that device. Turning Bluetooth off does not remove devices that are paired.

I have the same problem. It is frustrating!!
Seems that the only working solution is to remove the Ionic from the app, then search and add it back in. Have to do this multiple times a day. Getting annoying!
