Turn wrist to wake, stopped working on Ionic

My ionic has stopped waking up when I turn my wrist to view the time. I have to push the button on the left to be able to wake up the watch.  I don't see any options under settings to turn that feature on or off, am I missing something?  Connected to SG7 phone.

Hey there @Dev52, I'm glad to hear that your watch worked after following @Herejudynow's suggestion.

Welcome to the Community @Susan-L! I was wondering the same than @Backintm. As mentioned above, for you to get the Screen Wake settings you need to press and hold the left button on your watch. You will then find the Quick Settings to change this option.

In the meantime, you can see: How do I navigate my Fitbit device's screen?

Looking forward to your reply!

That's interesting. I am using a third party app too. The auto wake works,
but is sometimes slow. Ill pay more attention to see if I can predict what
makes is more slow than other times. Thanks for the suggestion.

I am not getting a "screen awake" button.  I have looked under settings - not there.  I want to turn off the auto screen awake.  Drains the battery too fast

Press the left button on your watch until it vibrates. That should bring up the option to turn off screen wake. Touch to change.

If I hold left button for about 2 secs, I get a settings screen with a "Screen Awake" setting. I can then tap the setting to toggle between auto and manual.

But, my battery lasts for several days. Even a full week. However, if I'm tracking bike rides and walks each day, I may have to charge every few days.

You can change the setting when you go to Tips. Slide right to left and Apps appear. Keep sliding right to left until you see Tips. Click on Tips and Quick Tips will ask you to start - just follow the Tips menu and you will find the Screen Wake option.

Yes swipe clock to right and set screen wake to auto however with different clocks that will not work but if you press and hold the left side button the screen awake screen should appear and set to auto and "viola" your problem is resolved and now you can get back to living a stress free life! Enjoy!
