Turn wrist to wake, stopped working on Ionic

My ionic has stopped waking up when I turn my wrist to view the time. I have to push the button on the left to be able to wake up the watch.  I don't see any options under settings to turn that feature on or off, am I missing something?  Connected to SG7 phone.

Your right.  There is on right swipe.  Left takes you to settings which strangely has nothing (lol although I did find some fun stuff there).

You need to hold the left button (can be done from any screen).  If you are playing music on your phone it will open the music control for your phone music.  Then right swipe and you get to change

“screen wake” from “manual” to “auto”.

No music then no swipe required to get to screen, just hold button.

Also can also turn off notifications here.

@Goetz @Chilly_C @TomCan2 @chris0531 @mkely1972 @Pacman84 @Mfrisz @Peterkaren @Woodsie61 @Bill-V Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for taking the time to share your input, help, workarounds, and experience on this thread regarding the Screen Wake feature of your watch. Also, I'm glad to read that most of you already reported that this is resolved.

If you are still experiencing trouble with the Screen Wake; please do the following in order to sort it out:

  • Press and hold the left button on your watch until it vibrates (around 2 seconds); and you will see the Quick Access menu on the screen.
  • Swipe left or right to access the Screen Wake settings and tap it to make sure it's enabled.

This should certainly help you out with this.

@Backintm I hope you're doing well! Thanks for sharing your help on this thread!

Press the left button until the watch vibrates. That should bring up the
screen to turn on auto wake. Touch to turn on the setting and hit your left
button to get back to your watch face.

Swiping right while the clock is displayed does absolutely nothing at all.  Now what?

Assuming you are looking for Screen  Wake setting, do a long push of left button and you will find it there.  You are correct, swiping right does nothing.

Where do I find the "turn on/off the quick view?"

I jsut switched from a Garmin to the Ionic and this interface is kind of a mess compared to the Garmin.

You could read the posts earlier.  But, a long press of the Back button will get you the Screen Wake setting.

Swiping right doesn't work any more. Now you need to hold down the button on the left side of the Ionic for the screen wake option to come up.
