Turn wrist to wake, stopped working on Ionic

My ionic has stopped waking up when I turn my wrist to view the time. I have to push the button on the left to be able to wake up the watch.  I don't see any options under settings to turn that feature on or off, am I missing something?  Connected to SG7 phone.

Press and hold button on left of face. Hit the screen wake, to auto.

Hold the left button down. It will beep and the screens will appear.

As someone told me, press and hold the left (back) button and the settings menu will come up.

I had the same problem, watch wouldnt turn on when I turned my wrist

Sorted it by rebooting the watch

No, it is not intuitive, Jimbo.  That's why they have User Manuals.  See page 17.

When I swipe left to right on my Ionic nothing on the screen changes, the time is still shown. When I swipe right to left the apps come on the screen? I've tried restarting but no change.

Press your left button until it vibrates. That should bring up the option
for auto screen wake. Touch auto to turn on. Use left button to go back to
your watch face.

R u trying to turn on screen awake ? If so hold left single button in for 5
seconds gives u the option to put in auto

Mine didn't work on swipe right, but found option by brifely pressing and holding the left button.

Yes I agree. I also had to something a little different with the left
button:

Left button
Enter passcode for credit card
Swipe right to see the menu

None of this was in the manual by the way!
