Unable to add Ionic back to Android phone

Hi,

I am unable to add the ionic back to android phone. Ionic gives 4 digit code and when entered in the phone, the app gives message - "Something went wrong", Exit or Try Again!!!

Issue - Ionic was not syncing with phone.

Steps taken -

1. Uninstalled fitbit app on android phone.
2. Downloaded latest app and logged in using google account
3. Paired Ionic with phone for the bluetooth.
4. Tried syncing but it was not.
5. Removed ionic and then paired again
6. While trying to add ionic to app, searching for your ionic - the ionic gives the 4 digit code and when the same code entered in phone app, it runs for few minutes and gives the error message - "SOMETHING WENT WRONG" EXIT OR TRY AGAIN.
7. Tried multiple times the same, different android phones, app installations etc, but end up in error mentioned in 6th point.

How to fix this issue?? Please help
