I am trying to get a new clock face but it says Unable to connect to Ionic on my phone.  Error connecting with Ionic,Make sure your Fitbit is nearby and powered on then try again.  I just uninstalled the app and reinstalled it.  And it still won't work!

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Melissa517! Thanks for already uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app, nice way to go!

Additionally of what you've tried, I'd recommend the following:

  • Make sure that your Fitbit app is up-to-date (iOS, Android)
  • Log out of your Fitbit app
  • Force quit the app
  • Restart your tracker
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit app
  • Try changing your clock face

If after following those steps you keep having issues updating the clock face, I'd recommend setting up your tracker as a new device. Therefore, please go to the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and remove the tracker from the Bluetooth settings (please don't do this on the Fitbit app, it may be a chance you cannot pair the tracker again if you remove it from the app, so let's do this only on the mobile phone).

Once you've made sure about that, go back to the Fitbit app, go to the "Account" option in the upper right corner and select "Set up a Device". This should start the setup process for your device. Smiley Very Happy

Give this a shot and let me know the outcome!

This solution makes no sense. Useless like the ionic tracker. Mine is neither accurate nor consistent

I've tried it all and nothing seems to work.  I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and every time I try to go into change clock faces, it spins for a bit and then goes to a white screen.

Welcome on board @Joshhamilton22, it's nice to see you around! Thanks for trying the suggestions provided. While reading your post I was wondering if you are getting any error messages when trying to change the clock face? What clock face are you trying to change? Have you tried with a different one? A Fitbit clock face perhaps?

Looking forward to your reply.

I have done everything...and now cannot pair my watch to phone.

Is there a number to call to have assistance?  My watch is less than a week old and having issues already
