I have tried at least 2 dozen times to pair my Sony wireless earphones with my Ionic. I have not managed to pair them with my Ionic even once. After I tap "+ New Device", I see "searching" and then "still searching" and then I always get "No devices found".
I've had these earphones for months and they pair very easily with my phone and iPod Nano.
Would love any suggestions. this is very frustrating as I was hoping to run with my music that I transferred to my Ionic (after much frustration figuring out how to do that) but I have to continue to do my runs carrying my phone or iPod (which I was hoping would stop with the purchase of the Ionic).

Holding the button for 7 seconds is key. I had my pairing turned on but it still was not synching. Then I read that you had to hold the sync button.

.
It took so long to successfully pair my earphones to my Ionic watch (due to a mistake which everyone is possibly making) that, when I finally succeeded, I wrote an article which should guarantee everyone will now succeed.
It is stored at the following link on this site:

I turned my phone off and it worked too, so why is the phone influencing it? I have an iphone6, perhaps the app on the phone is causing the problem any ideas?
