Unable to see Ionic as an option to connect to in Fitbit app for Windows phone 8.1

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Have previously used Surge on my Windows phone 8.1 without any problem.

Purchased new ionic, including checking for compatability with my Windows Lumia 640 8.1.

But the fitbit app does not display ionic as an option that can be connected to.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled the fitbit app, but no success.

What is going on?  Why can't I see the Ionic option in the Fitbit app?

The Fitbit app stopped being compatible for Windows 8 devices, meaning it hasn't been updated in a long time, meaning the Ionic has not been included in the current version of the fitbit app your lumia has.

What support told my boyfriend to do was to update to windows 10 on his windows phone. Luckily he got a samsung phone, and could use his charge 2.
