Unable to sync Ionic after battery went flat

My Ionic will not synch with Iphone 8 on IOS 13.4.1 after battery went flat. Charged all night and now will not synch. Won't allow me to remove it and set up a new device, aborts process. Tried all the switch off/on and reset ideas on here. Any ideas?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared, your effort troubleshooting your device before posting is appreciated. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your iOS mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

After trying several times to sync, I did several resets, still won't sync.
Tried Factory Reset from Ionic screen. Now I have the black screen of death. Cannot start.
Any ideas?
