This is my 2nd ionic (1st died due to battery degradation) - was working well until few weeks ago where I noticed it stopped syncing with the app and the time started lagging behind.
Am unable to sync it back to my app after removing it from the app as I tried to fix the error, I've also done the following:
- Reset the Ionic itself, reset my iPhone
- On/off bluetooth on iPhone
- Reinstall fitbit app
To no avail. Now I've done factory reset as the last resort and its stuck at setting up Ionic on the app like a circle of death.
Can you please kindly advise (or at least let us know whether you're rolling out a new Fitbit app update to patch this error or whether an Ionic 2 is finally due so I can replace it with a newer device?)

First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check all the information that's specified on: How do I set up my Fitbit device? to check if all the requirements are correctly configured to setup your device. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Thanks, I've already checked out these pages and if you've read the actions I did - these are the steps in the pages; so would appreciate if the issue can be escalated to someone responsible in the Fitbit team who can actually do something about it (if they exist) rather than going around in circles redirecting people to these pages that are not helpful in addressing the issue
BTW I even contemplated trying to re-setup the Fitbit using my Windows 10 laptop rather than iPhone but for some reason the App itself can't even be downloaded from the Windows store [just says Pending]

I've got syncing issues with my relatively new Ionic. The Fitbit has disconnected from my phone and I can't reconnect it. I downloaded the app to my PC with Windows 10 to see if that would help but my Ionic won't connect to the PC either. All was sweet until I noticed the time was incorrect on the Fitbit and now it can't be reset or setup so it's good for nothing. There had also been issues with the battery for about a week too. Without warning the battery would show as O% but when I put it on charge it would 100% charge in only about 30 minutes. I don't know if all the issues are connected.
If anyone has any solutions I would be very grateful. Thanks in advance. 🙂
