My ionic gives me nothing more than stress. Two weeks I've been trying to get personal music on the device. That was the point when buying the Ionic: listen to music while running, without having to carry a smartphone.
I've read a lot of topics on this one, and tried a lot... but nothing seems to work. Last thing I tried is deleting the device from the app and to connect again... 2 hours later.... nothing.
I'm just wasting a lot of time.
A solution anyone? Thanks a lot!

Hi @maarten-oktopus thanks for bringing your concern to my attention, let me give you a hand with this. Also, I'd like to give you a warm welcome to our Community.
Thanks for your effort and patience troubleshooting your device and this matte prior posting. With the Music app on your Fitbit Ionic, you should be able to store and play several hours worth of your favorite songs and podcasts right on your wrist. After you download playlists to your watch, you just need to connect Bluetooth headphones or another audio device to listen to your tracks but keep in mind you can only transfer files that you own or don’t require a license. I recommend you to check our help article: How do I listen to music and podcasts on my Fitbit watch? for more information and details about this specific feature and let me know how it goes.
I'll be here if you need further assistance, please keep me posted.

Dear Ricardo,
Thanks for your reply! I already did all the troubleshooting that can be found... but it remains impossible to get music on my Ionic. It's impossible to keep a wifi connection even if I'm literally near the router.
Kind regards,
Maarten

You're welcome @maarten-oktopus thanks for your reply. My apologies for the delay in responding your post.
Thanks for troubleshooting this with me, your effort and patience are appreciated. Let me share with you that your watch only stays in transfer mode for a few minutes but if you took a few extra minutes to choose your playlists, restart the download if you don’t see “Use your computer to start transferring music” on your watch's screen. To do so, tap Transfer Music on your watch again and wait a few moments for the download to start. For best results, plug your watch into the charger before downloading music.
To download personal music and podcasts, your watch and computer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Follow the steps below to verify your devices are connected to the same network and then try again to download your playlists:
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Hi Ricardo,
Thanks a lot for your reply and suggestions. I've tried trouble shooting all around but I don't get it done, even litteraly 20 cm from the router. Next I've tried with Deezer, but the same goes on... Never able to make a connection for longer than a few secons.
The only reason I bought the Ionic was to listen to music on it (while trakcing) while running.... After I few months I don't manage to get this done. So I'm quite unhappy with my buy. Is there another fitbit watch that does the job? Cause honestly I'm about to get rid of this one.
Have a nice day,
Maarten

Thank you too for your reply and all the information that was posted @maarten-oktopus, my apologies for the delay in responding your post.
Seems odd that you're still unable to transfer music to your Ionic device, even more after trying the troubleshooting steps previously posted, thanks for your patience with this. I recommend you to restart your Ionic device following the next steps and then try again the steps that were shared on my previous post. Please try the following:
