Can`t update firmware, failed again after downloding in aprox 5 hours. goes in to start up mode. Please help..

I am having the same problems: since a couple of days the bluetooth was constantly dying, but this morning the firmware wanted to update. So, I hoped this would be the solution. But the update keeps hanging after a while. Currently, I even can't get the update to start again! The Fitbit-logo is flashing on the watch's screen.
HELP!

FIRST,, I am no expert but mine has a similar issue and it appears that my phone is no longer on the list of compatible phones (Samsung Galaxy A5) and this is why it cannot update the firmware. Tech support has been able to get mine started with a work around but this is not a long term fix. I suspect if truly this is the cause of your issue we will be just out of luck, we or at least I will not be a happy customer if this is true. I believe we have to complain to get a long term fix and have them include our phones in the updates.
