What a terrible experience. I'm not a novice at this, I have a Samsung Gear S3 and a few Android Wear watches, and even Garmin works better than this. An unresponsive back button that works unpredictably or by itself, crashing apps, and I can't even get it to show the time for the most part. I don't understand how something like this can be even issued. What an unintuitive clunker.

It is apparent i have a defective unit which has unfortunately led me to rant somewhat, so I'm glad that others are using theirs successfully. Some bugs I had were not hardware related though; also had connection problems and the battery went from 100% to zero overnight in the box! Guess I had the bad luck of getting a lemon. Thanks for the posts; I ended up returning it.

Sorry to hear you're having a bad experience. I've had my Ionic for a few months now and it's been pretty much perfect. I've really loved it an enjoyed it. Sounds like you should return the device for another one or contact support.
Best of luck!

I just want my money back!!!!!!! It won't update. It connected to Pandora ONE TIME!! since Christmas. It literally tells time and tracks steps. I think I've had it too long to return. I just kept thinking I wasn't doing something right, but I think it is just a piece of crap.

Sucks you have had a bad experience. I have had the Ionic since mid-October and been relatively issue free. The only thing that I ran into was bluetooth connection problems with the Pixel - but it sounds like they have been fixed.
I am in the same boat as @Heather-S and have really enjoyed having the Ionic. It is a watch that I do not hesitate telling people they should buy if they ask.
Have you reached out to support with your problems and given Fitbit a chance to help fix them?

I've had mine for a week now. It wouldn't charge. I finally got it charged. Now it won't sync it will but will unsync shortly after .I'd give it a 1 out of 10. It's a **ahem** in my opinion .will likely return and get another brand .

My Ionic is also a piece of @hit. It will hardly ever connect via Bluetooth to my computer for an update. Sometimes it just connects and syncs but not when i ask it to. It is just an awful piece of technology. Several times I have wanted to smash it with a hammer but it was a gift from my wife and I do use it to tell time and see how many steps I take daily. I only have the app installed on my computer. I have reset the watch dozens of time thinking that it might actually work like other reliable Bluetooth devices... "Looking for tracker looking for tracker looking for tracker The software sucks. Top bar indicates I have 4 messages. I click on it. You have no messages. Try and choose a new watch face... Screw that too...does not work. Do NOT waste your money on a FitBit product especially the Ionic.
