I updated my Fitbit Ionic maybe a week ago. Then yesterday my ionic ran down to 0% battery. I put it on the charger, then came back to it, but now its stuck in a boot loop. I tried soft resetting (hold down left and right bottom button) but that didn't work. I also tried hard resetting (hold all 3 buttons, wait for logo to disappear, release bottom right button, wait for vibrate, release all buttons) but the hard reset does not work either. It's still in a boot loop!!! I contacted Fitbit support, but they couldn't do anything. They want me to purchase a new one. Really?
So is this Fitbit's way of forcing people to purchase new trackers? By pushing out firmware that will make the tracker completely useless then force you to buy a new one?

Only thing you can try is let the battery deplete so the Ionic gets a power reset. Charge it up again, using the 3 button reset if necessary.
