I have the new update and my steps are not counting correctly, I have no messages or phone notifications and it’s not counting my stairs. I’m very disappointed right now. I’ve done all the troubleshooting I can think of and it’s not working. I got this fitbit 2 months ago.

Does "all the troubleshooting I can think of" include a Restart? In any event, do a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

I've done both that you've suggested. Very Frustrating, I will call customer service directly and see if they have a solution. Thank you for your response.

I have the same problem! I finally updated the firmware over the weekend and now the step count is terrible! I know I've walked over 1500 steps based on how many I usually get walking across the parking lot to get inside for work and it says I've only walked 880.
I restarted my Ionic and my phone 3 times today just to get it to sync.
I agree that this is really disappointing. I think I'm going to try and call fitbit since it seems there's no longer an option to email them through the app (which is really annoying)

I agree with you. I'm going to give them a call as well. Let's hope they can fix this because it is very frustrating especially when you pay so much and expect it to work.
