Upgrafed to latest firmware and cant synv

After the latest firmware upgrade I cannot sync at all. And for an added bonus I can't get a watchface I wrote off the ionic. So now I am stuck with a watchface that I don't want that was written just for playing with combined with a tracker that won't sync.

 

I have tried doing a restart of the watvh, the phone, deleting the tracker and adding it back  (that worked but then it can't sync) and trying to switch to a different watchface. Nothing works...

I'm curious, what version of the firmware did you upgrade to; as far as I know, 27.25.16.7 is the current release and it was released in late September.

A new firmware update was released today. Don't know the version number.

@wookietim A bit radical but have you tried a factory reset? Settings - About - Factory Reset. Note this will clear all data. I offer this as an option as you appear to have done some dev work on it, which might’ve been corrupted in some way.

@wookietim, correct me if I'm wrong, but I have been under the impression 27.30.x.x was assigned to developer versions of the firmware.  Yes, no?

A new developer version maybe, but 27.25.16.7, released in September, is still the current version of the firmware for non-developer Ionic trackers.

If you aren't a developer, then none.  Why?  Because there are no upgrades available for the Firmware.

Wait. It's a developer version? Why the hell did the app prompt me to install it? That kinda pisses me off.

I had the same issue with the clock face. I had created a test one and it wouldn't let me change to a stock one.  I ended up deleting the clock I made out of the fit it app.  Then I restarted the fitbit and it's good now.  To delete it go to the developer option on the app and delete it there. 

 

Also on the sync, sometimes I select and unselect the all day sync and that will help it to sync.
