Does anyone know of a watch face for Ionic that shows the hourly steps (either a number or a completion dial)?

On the Blaze I used 'circuit' as it was the only watch face with this option, I can't seem to find anything similar so far for Ionic - any ideas or suggestions?

Yes, its hourly steps that I am after.

Ideally at a glance I could then see if I need to get up a move!  Sometimes I have meetings that prevent me being able to act on the hh:50 move reminder, so being able to see at a glance early in the hour is a benefit.

On the Blaze we had the watch face below.  Tapping the smaller circle would cycle the vaious stats, including hourly steps.  If the Gauges watch face let me swap the dials on display it would be ideal - Total Steps, Hourly Steps, Floors...... 🙂

Circuit:

Current day is on the left, and a progress dial for a stat of your choice is on the lower right. The dial will fill up based on your progress toward your daily goal for whichever stat icon is showing (will always be a full circle for heart rate).  The white dots represent each hour. You can choose from steps, heart rate, distance, calories, floors, and even your hourly activity.

While it doesn't have the step count for the hour Flare does show your steps as a line along the minutes.  i used it on my blaze, and i'll probably use if on the ionic for the same reason.

Looking for this feature too. The "Today" app shows the, but I would like to see it on the clock. Checking the step count is the easiest way to keep my daily steps high. If I get up for coffee or bio-break, I'll check my steps to see if I should knock out an extra 50 or so.

Anyway... Just saying that I second this request!

At the moment it seems that the best hope for this a watch face from a third party.  Unfortunately, feedback on other threads states that the API they can use does not make the hourly step count available - odd given it must be calculated by the watch for the Today app and steps remaining notifications.

One developer did suggest some code that might work, so maybe someone will use that idea in a watch face.

If I get any time to investigate the API I may take a look myself, but I struggle for time to try coding at home these days so probably won't happen!

To me it is. It's the first face that I've found that lets me customize what I want to tap through (hate to have to tap through 12 stats when I really only want steps.) The only thing that's missing to me is custom photo option, which I've asked the developer. He says he's considering it, but seems difficult to implement. Either way, the space theme is nice. I've found that the weather is very accurate, compared to others. Also the battery is efficient as well😉

Another thing I forgot to mention is that the hourly step count doesn't stop once you reach 250 steps, which I love. It's so motivating to see exactly the number of steps you've taken each hour (and not only the Max hours allowed in fitbit app.) Works every single hour😉 image.jpg

Also the free trial is long, so you can try it 😉

@spccynthia Welcome to the Fitbit forums! Thanks for sharing the name of one of the clock faces that shows hourly steps. I'm sure this will be very helpful for other users who are looking for this too.

I will leave a picture of how this clock face looks and shows the hourly steps. Feel free to download it:

ILuvChrono is another one that does this. Granted this is an approximation, but it does work very well, especially if the watch face is actually available to run on the hour. When the API function to access steps on the hour becomes available, I will update accordingly.

These two show the number of steps remaining to get 250 steps, and include many other useful health and astronomical stats.
