Wearing Fitbit Ionic in Pocket

My ionc watchband is broke  so I place the ionic in my pants pocket.
Should I expect an accurate step count ?

Hi @srfpala  the Ionic has been voluntarily recalled - click to learn more. As for accuracy while in the pocket, for me, having a Fitbit in the pocket doesn't count as many steps as when on the wrist.
