I have an issue where synced workouts that weights have distance attached to them.

Phone: Galaxy S8+

Same issue here with the iPhone, so it's not an Android issue.
Since December 29, 2017, every Strength Training, Weights, Workout entry I have shows miles, avg bpm and pace. Pace is completely useless for Strength Training, Weights, and Workout.
I haven't found a solution on how to change this setting.
My wife has the Charge 2 and doesn't have this issue.
I can touch the exercise in the app and see the calories burned, but that's a workaround and I shouldn't have to use this workaround since "pace" has nothing to do with moving weights.

Hello everyone! Thanks for your continuous participation on this thread regarding pace being shown for weights and other activities.
Our team has received the feedback from everyone in this thread and is working to investigate these reports further. I will share updates from the team when I hear them. In the meantime, I recommend following these steps that had helped other users in the past.
Thanks to everyone for your reports and understanding.
See you around!

i followed the steps outlined and nothing has changed with my previous
weights workouts logged. i’ll see what happens tomorrow as i log a new
weights workout and report back. i don’t have much hope, but there is a
little hope left.

Same issue. I debated a long time before investing in the ionic and It can’t even calculate lifting weights correctly.. pretty much useless for the money I paid for it.

They’ve been aware for months, yet still haven’t fixed the issue. And why should they? They already have your $300.

When is this actually going to be rectified? You’ve known about the issue for months and claim your engineers are aware. Either fix the issue or send us all a $300 refund.

Same with me. I tried the steps... nothing changed. That's the main thing I do everyday. I do cardio some but my weights are my main workout.

I have the Versa and it does the same thing - I use to have the Blaze and it tracked weight, workouts and other non-pace activities correctly.

They don’t care. They’ve known about the issue for months and claim their engineers are aware, yet not only have they not fixed it, they’ve also introduced another product (Versa) with the same problem. Either fix the issue or send us all a $300 (Ionic) or $200 (Versa) refund.

Thank you for posting this. I have noticed the same thing and this has always annoyed me, not sure why distance is included for weight lifting workouts.

Hi
This has not worked for me, and still displaying pace - I have a Fitbit Versa
When will this be fixed by Fitbit, as this has been a known issue for some time now, affecting the Ionic and Versa.
I received an update to the software yesterday, yet this problem was not fixed.
Can you please let me know when Fitbit will be fixing this issue?

Same issue here with my iphone and charge 2. I have no need to see that pace and I really miss easily seeing calories burned. So so so frustrating.

Windows 10 wo/pace
Android w/pace
OP here.
I am guess it is more of a iOS, Android and Windows app issue more than something to do with Iconic OR Iconic when using exercise shortcut logging wrong datatype.
Assuming all Fitbit companion apps are getting the same data feed from the Fitbit account database, here is something I observed.
Somehow the app on iOS and Android identified treadmill logged need to display a pace while the Windows 10 app doesn't.
Extrapolate the same issue for weights, it might be a coding error in classifying the the display of weight and treadmill while it is being displayed.
ie. Weights data might be treated as treadmill datatype at the code level and requires a display of pace which is not supposed to.
Just my hypothesis....

Oh my God!
Totally agree! It is just stupid! It should show calories and time.

Hi Fit Bit team,
I am having the same problem. You have mentioned you have a bug. When are you going to resolve this?
It have been months now! My weight workout should have shown calories burned. I have tried removing exc.from Exercise Shortcut and resting the app and phone. It didnt help.
