Fourth day of owning the ionic and fourth day it gives me several thousand steps when I’m not doing anything. Loved the blaze .. stopped charging one day so I thought I’d upgrade . This has been a crummy experience so far 😞

My wife was told that if you put it on a table or something that vibrates, that in some cases the watch will count steps. She had it on the nightstand that had a fan on it. The next morning she had over 20000 steps.

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.
