What happened to the Fitbit app in the App Store?

Hi, I just got a new Ionic, and am trying to set it up with some personal music.  I understand I need to install the Fitbit app on my Macbook to do this, but when I log into the App Store, the Fitbit app has gone AWOL.  The only apps that pop up when I search for "Fitbit" are a couple of third-party paid apps.  Has anyone else experienced this?  I'm absolutely baffled, and doubly frustrated because I have the feeling I'm overlooking something obvious...

I'm seeing it fine for Android too on Google Play, and have successfully installed it on my Android phone.  But no matter what I do it doesn't show up in the App Store.

@JugglerDave It’s my understanding that at present there is no Mac AppStore software for FitBit. If using a Mac you need to install FitBit Connect, which you can download from the setup page
