When to charge Ionic to maintain battery life

For phones, I’ve read that it is best to charge at about 50% regularly, then fully discharge about once per month. Is this the same for the Ionic?  

Also, how often, if ever should it be shut down?

I let mine go to about 10% before recharging.  I've been involved with electronics for over 70 years so I have a little history.  You never need to use shutdown unless you are having a problem that a shutdown might solve.

I charge mine from between 15 to 30% depending on if I'm going out and I might run out of charge before I get back home
