Which is the most accurate calorie burn activity when logging Jumping Rope with Ionic?

what is the best "activity log" that will reflect most accurate calorie burn? Interval Training? Steps? Other? I want to mix in this activity instead of running all the time. I know there are smarter ways to burn calories aside from joining a gym. I'm not at the point where I want to build muscles. More focused on losing some weight and getting in some quality cardio. Looking to drop 15 to 25 pounds. Pushing hard for daily calorie deficit.

"Workout" is always a good choice.  Calorie burn is based on heart rate anyway.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
