The only sensor light that is flashing on my Ionic is the center GREEN one. My heart rate seems to be tracking just fine. However, there are three additional sensors that don't seem to be active.
Is this normal?

Yes'r, normal. Mine is "just" the center light as well.
Assuming the balance of sensors are not transmitting “visible” light:
“The optical HR sensor is totally new on the Fitbit Ionic, with the company shifting to a tricolor sensor platform (green, red, and infrared)”. Three photo diodes and one LED set in the center.”
So center one transmits and the others sense. As additional activity measurement features roll out I am confident they will share which sensor is doing what for us. Right now, everything is familiar.

Yes that is normal behaviour, nothing to worry about.

Double post by accident.

I have had an Ionic since the middle of October and until this morning I have only noticed the green LED being active as well.
This morning, a short while after waking up and getting out of bed, I took it off to clean it and saw that both the red and green LEDs were active for a a minute or so before returning to "normal" green only operation.
Could it be Fitbit are beginning to test the two remaining LEDs (red and IR) in the center during sleep cycles?
This might give oxygenation levels in the near future.

Not your imagination, I saw the same thing before showering this AM.
Fingers crossed.

This just happened to me a few hours ago. The red led came on with the green for a minute or two and then went back to green. I wonder if it is an accident maybe?
