Will the Fitbit link with the app Map my Run in terms of heart rate monitoring. At present does not link with Blaze?

@Elles1 You may connect your MapMyRun and Fitbit accounts but only the following metrics will be shared with MapMyRun from Fitbit:

  • Steps
  • Distance
  • Calories
  • Weight

If you'd like to see this integration include heart rate data, I would recommend voting for this existing idea in our Feature Suggestion board. The more votes this receives, the more likely it is to be considered for implementation in a future release.

@Elles1 its possible, as far as I know the only automatic export of HR is from Fitbit to Strava, and only for GPS tracked runs and bike rides.

For all other 3rd parties, if you have a GPS tracked activity then you can export a TCX from web browser and import into Map My Ride.

Aria, Fitbit MobileTrack on iOS. Previous: Flex, Force, Surge, Blaze

That sucks. Is there any future option to sync GPS tracked runs with MapMyRun?

Good afternoon, I noticed the last response to this post was almost a year ago.  I was wondering if there was any progress in integrating the Heart Rate monitor on my Ionic to Map My Run for our Fitbit devices.  I know Apple Watch integrated this data and it is very helpful to see where your heart rate is during certain points of your work out.

Hello

I clicked on the link you suggested and Fitbit have said "Our web API and smartwatch SDK are open which means that the service you are wanting can actually integrate with Fitbit. We’d encourage you to make this suggestion to the service and direct them to our existing API and SDK and resources such as the web dev API community. "

I guess this is now in Mapmyrun court. I hope they do something to make it happen.
