Did you mean:

Will not charge after only a year of light use

Well, I'm not going to mention the way the Ionic has garbage Bluetooth tech that negates its viability for music, nor its useless "Run" app, which never literally ever tracks distance correctly - and that the mods here say the solution is to track distance using "bike", which is, if you think about it for one second, a ridiculous answer.

I'm better than that.  So rather than bringing those glaring failures up, I'm just gonna mention how after a year of light use (only for workouts, not for regular wear or use underwater) my fitbit will simply not charge.  At all.

Yes, I bought a new charge cable.  Yes, I cleaned the contact points as recommended.

No, it doesn't work.

I should have listened to my friends who warned me about this product.  It wasn't ready for consumers.

So, hey mods:  got any more useless ideas for me to try before I smash your watch with an axe to make myself feel better for wasting half a paycheck on this thing?

I think you're my spirit animal! You've summed up how I feel about mine with the same issues precisely. Is it time for us all to band together and take to the media?
