Windows app download for Ionic

*** edited to say that I beat the **ahem** thing into submission after many restarts and lots of swearing and stress. It should not be this difficult FitBit! Bad enough that the FitBit pay (another big selling point) is a complete joke due to not even being available to most people... ***

I’ve been a dedicated FitBit user for several years now but the problems I’m now having with Ionic are likely to change that. 

FitBit connect tells me I don’t have an Ionic paired with my account, which I do and it is properly set up and in use, but because of this it says I have to download the FitBit app for Windows which in itself is impossible because the Windows App Store is so ridiculously bad. I’ve been trying to download it since yesterday with no success. 

It shouldnt be this difficult, I just want to transfer my training playlist to the **ahem** thing. 

Can I download the FitBit app somewhere other than the useless Windows App Store? I found it on cnet or some other download site but it was apparently in need of an update which took me back the useless App Store...

Hi @Alicat2104,

I believe all roads lead to The Store, so that part needs to get cleaned up. Are you getting a particular error, or is there a screenshot you could post that might be helpful?

Microsoft Store very easy no account required(microsoft i mean at account). Installed and works fine, as it was designed.
