When traveling in European countries recently, my cell phone displays local time correctly. When sync 2 Ionic watches with Fitbit app on the cell phones, the app message: "require internet to ..". The cell phones are able to connect internet through either data provider's network or any public WIFI, which requires LOGIN ID but no password needed. Why does the Ionic lack the basic feature to display correct time without internet connection? Displaying correct time is a MUST for any watch without internet. Called support and opened a case number: 24917264 on 05/22/18. Made a follow up on 06/08/18. Wish this would be heard - per customer support's request to list this issue here.

If the phone is able to connect through WiFi to the Internet, the app should also be able to connect to the InternetIto sync the tracker. That is as long as the port Fitbit uses to sync has not been blocked by firewalls .
Currently your in the comunity support area, and your problem is not something that the typical Fitbit user will be able to help with .
