After attempting firmware update, my watch is stuck on Fitbit logo and won't power down (using left and lower right buttons). Never updated, just frozen. Then I unpaired with Android S8. Now my phone and ironic can't find each other to re-pair. So frustrating! I have not been happy with this purchase.

Updated firmware on my iconic earlier this week and initially it connected with my phone fine as 'iconic (classic)'. Then it seemed to lose the connection and reconnected itself with the old 'iconic' connection.
My phone still shows the iconic (classic) as an paired device, but doesn't connect to it.
I unpaired both and then re-paired the 'classic' to the phone and it worked ok for a while, but then disconnected and went back to the plain 'iconic' again.
Any advice on how to fix this would be welcome

yes it is really frustrating, only way I could get my ionic to sync was to do factory reset which was really a pain to get it final repair - so what I did is new installation on Windows 10 machine because my Samsung Tab S3 would not pair - and finally after an hour - I got it up - but with old version of the OS on the watch - which is fine for me until Fitbit corrects the problems with this new firmware update.

I bought the Ionic today for £239.. I have had fitbits for years, the latest being a Surge. I had sync problems for ages and just stuck with it. Today , I have spent four hours trying to sync Deezer music via Wifi....and it is the same old issues with poor tech solutions. I will not even waste my time with Cust Services...as I do not want to add to my mild frustration. I decided to reboot my fitbit app and reinstall and manually add my WiFi connection....and so far this had worked. Also, I think you need to have both Ionic and phone charging at the same time and virtually on top of each other. So far so good.....I am nearly at the stage of binning my phone and all tech...and just spend the rest of my life on the allotment away from it all.
