I'm sorry you had problems.

I have had my Ionic since Ionic 10/3/2017  and it works fine and still holds a charge for at least 5 days.

How were you charging it?

See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

Charging practices is not the issue, i had no battery issues with it until yesterday it has just finished charging it, a few hours it was dead. It won’t charge at all now. Tried cleaning the contact points, 3 different cables, ac and usb outlets and won’t even stay on once disconnected. Was able to get in far enough to do a factory reset which seamed to make it worse. Did a few manual reboots and nothing. Tech support gave me no other options then to buy a new one.  What a joke, why would I invest more money in a watch That clearly has battery defects the the manufacturer is not willing to fix.

After a factory reset your tracker will need to be set up as if it was a new device.
