Hi everyone.

Just wondering what your thoughts are with regards to upgrading from the Surge to the Ionic?

Thanks

Myself I like it a lot better due to the fact it is smaller.

Love the colors as well.

Lots more clock faces to choose from.

It’s definitely an upgrade IMO, even for someone like me who doesn’t make much use of the "smartwatch" features of the Ionic (like listening to music stored on it, paying your coffee with it, looking at the weather forecasts etc.). The only thing I’m missing from the Surge is the fact its display is always on.

Totally agree with @WendyB and @Dominique.  The Ionic is much more comfortable to wear than the Surge and has more features.  But I do miss the always on display.

It has excellent battery life.

YES!  I was always a SURGE user from the get-go.  Loved all the features.  I held out as long as I could and finally broke down and JUST received the IONIC.  Right out of the box, the feel is incredible.  More user friendly and all the features are very visible!!  Besides, my Surge was starting to break down...bubbles around the band and the buttons were getting stiffer.  I guess I will use the Surge for my golf rounds until it is inoperable.  But I can't wait to get going with my IONIC.

Ionic is also now covered under Fitbits 25% off out of warranty deal that they do.

So at roughly $100 off yes it’s worth it.
