Wrist latches not attaching to the main watch face

Is anyone else having a problem or trouble latching the wrist straps in place? I received my New Ionic watch today and was very disappointed when I went to wear it because it kept detaching and falling off, with both the small & large options. Do you think I need to return it?

I've found that you do have to push the connecting end of the strap into the main body with quite a bit of force. If done correctly you should hear a click as it locks into place. In other words, push it in as hard as you can and it should work.
