Hi, does anyone know if the watch face glass is suppose to be crack proof. i know you can scratch it, but is it suppose to be crack/shatter proof?

No it will crack or shatter in certain circumstances.

Really there is no need to suffer in Frustration - simply call Tech Support at 877-623-4997 and get your Ionic replaced right now while you can
Many have followed this straightforward advice and now have a replacement Ionic - we all should have “zero tolerance” for any defective Ionic

From what has been posted -> no.  You need to buy an entire new watch.  Possibly Tech Support may offer a discount on another device.  So would call then and see what they have to say.
