had my ionic for about a month now. problems arose a few days ago where the screen went blank randomly. i restarted it and it started working again. then the next day the "back" button stopped working. this is when i contacted fitbit about warranty and was basically told that because i had bought my ionic from eBay (brand new, sealed box) that warranty was not available.
i thought sure i can use the watch without the back button, but today all 3 buttons stopped working and the watch eventually stopped working approx 2 hours later. screen is black, it is plugged into charger and there is no sign of life and pressing any button does nothing. so i guess its completely dead.
poor quality watch. poor customer service.

I am sorry. But there is no way for fitbit to be sure where and eBay user got the product.
Retailer list is here

You really should take this up with the E bay seller

@dal60y Welcome to the Fitbit Community! That's unfortunate, thanks for contacting customer support regarding this.
Just as @WendyB said, the best thing you can do at this point is contacting the eBay seller to get a refund or replacement. There must be a warranty from their side.
Contact them and keep us posted!
