fitbit ionic battery life - from great to gone

I purchased my ionic December 2017.  I loved its battery life even though i could never get some features to work, like auto exercise detect.  Now, 3 months later, my battery life went from 5 days to 2 days to 1 day to 12 hours.  I am reading this complaint from many other ionic users.  at this point, my fitbit is useless. Any ideas from people out there with same complaints?

Why don't you try a RESTART, or several if necessary, and if that doesn't help, try a Factory Reset located under About in the Settings App and/or contact Customer Support.
