I was recently given a fitbit ionic from my brother that he said stopped working a few days ago. I got it to turn on and it works but the green light on the back is constantly on and it dies within about 7 hours. I've tried a factory reset and turning off the HR but nothing seems to be working. Any help on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

Hello,

The green light on the back of the Fitbit Ionic is the heart rate monitor if it is on continuously that means it is always recording your heart rate. You may want to replace the battery if it dies within 7 hours.

Is it supposed to always be on? My brother said it didn't do that before it started dying.
